Mrs. Sarah Deloach graduated from Strom Thurmond High School in 2004. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina Aiken and her Master's in Language and Literacy and Administration from the University of South Carolina. She is currently working on her Doctoral Degree at Clemson University. Through her career with Saluda County Schools she has served as an elementary classroom teacher, Reading Coach, Instructional Coach, and Assistant Principal. She took over as Principal at Saluda Primary-Elementary School at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year. Mrs. Deloach has a passion for meeting the needs of all learners and building a culture where every student feels he or she can be successful.

Zach Shealy
Mr. Zach Shealy began his career at Forts Pond Elementary School, where he taught 5th grade for eight years before moving to Saluda Elementary School in 2020. During his time at Forts Pond Elementary, Mr. Shealy also coached Pelion’s JV Baseball team for two seasons. While at Saluda Elementary, Mr. Shealy spent one year as a 5th grade teacher before becoming Assistant Principal in 2021. Mr. Shealy earned his Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University. Mr. Shealy believes that all students should have an opportunity to learn in a safe, caring and welcoming school environment.

Chloe Young
Mrs. Chloe Young is a proud graduate of the Saluda High School class of 2008. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and a Master's in Educational Leadership from Southern Wesleyan University. Mrs. Young spent six years teaching Kindergarten and first grade at Saluda Primary School and then served as the School Counselor at Saluda Elementary School for two years. Mrs. Young became the Assistant Principal at Saluda Primary-Elementary School at the beginning of the 2021-2022 school year. Mrs. Young believes that educators aren't there just to teach, but to inspire others, change people for the better, and help students overcome challenges that may seem impossible.
